We have a fabulous guest post today from Laura Kelly. You can find her over at Me and My Inklings with tons more great crafts that you will love!
This is Laura Kelly here and I am super excited to be guest
posting on Crafts with Jars! I am
sharing a fun printable and a recipe for an awesome sauce crumble topping to add to baked good that can be jarred up as
a really fun gift.
This all happened because my kiddos wanted my muffins to be
“as good as” the ones at Starbucks…the ones with the sugary stuff all over the
top. I did some research and played
around with ingredients and came up with the combination that worked the
best. It is so super easy and yummy and
perfect to jar up as a gift.
This is what goes in it:
·
1 Cup Flour
·
2 TB Powdered Sugar
·
¾ Cup Sugar
I put the sugar on the bottom, the powdered sugar in the
middle and then the sugar on the top. Then I tied the directions on to the jar with ribbon. It is fun to mix up with other fun items to
give together as a gift. I think it
works great with a couple of milk glasses, straws and baking cups. If you already know me then you know that
black with white polka dots is my jam.
Cute, right? You
could add a box of muffin mix to really give a fabulous gift.
Here are the crumbles on blueberry muffins served with milk
and straws.
When I am not baking and making things, I spend most of my
time doodling and designing for my licensing art career. I created this fun printable just for this
post and for you so you can create this gift too. You can download it HERE!
Have fun baking, creating and sharing. Spreading love through making things and
giving them away makes me feel happy in my heart. I hope it does the same for you.
Visit me anytime on my blog or any of my social media
platforms. I share a lot and would love
to share with you.
Cheers,
Laura
Love this idea! When you layer the ingredients, did you mean you started with flour on the bottom?
