It is time once again for our 10 favorite crafts with jars series. If you missed the first installment, be sure to catch it here. Today we have another guest who is sharing her favorite Crafts with Jars. Take it away Cyn!
Hey there! I'm Cyn from Creative Cynchronicity and Gagen Girls. I live in London, Ontario Canada (about halfway between Toronto and Detroit) with my crazy-and-cuddly-German-Shepherd-who-thinks-she's-a-lap-dog. I have one child, a beautiful daughter who's getting married this spring. I'm a former classroom teacher - now blogger and social media manager and my days are generally spent either glued to a computer screen or glued (sometimes literally) to my crafting table. When Angie invited me to share 10 Favorite Crafts with Jars with you, I thought "Easy peasy! I adore jar crafts and am even using some for my daughter's wedding." Actually, it's not as easy as I thought it would be because I had an awful time narrowing them down to just 10! I've always loved jars of all sorts from way back when I was a little girl and saw my mom and my grandmothers using them for canning, for making sewing kits and button jars out of, for organizing things around the house, as vases for flowers fresh from the garden. Now that there's been such a resurgence in their popularity and all these fabulous jar crafts are popping up, well it makes me just want to swoon. Here are 10 of my favorites:
- Puffy paint glass jar lanterns
- Christmas in a jar
- Salt shaker (they're like mini jars right?) ornaments
- Photo in a jar
- Patriotic US flag jar centerpiece
- Epsom salt luminaries
- Glitter dipped jars
- Love under glass
- And two for the kids (little and big!): Lego character jar
- Minion jars
